SAN BERNARDINO, CA — Youth Action Project (YAP), a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth and young adults across the Inland Empire, has been selected to receive a $4,000 charitable contribution from The Bellamy Group, a national consulting firm committed to supporting community-centered initiatives.

The contribution is part of The Bellamy Group’s broader effort to invest in organizations creating measurable impact in underserved communities nationwide. Youth Action Project was selected for its proven track record in youth mentorship, workforce development, and entrepreneurship programming.

“This support comes at a critical time and reinforces that the work we do is creating real impact beyond our region,” said a representative of Youth Action Project. “We’re grateful to The Bellamy Group for investing in the potential of the young people we serve and helping us expand access to opportunity.”

Founded in 1998, Youth Action Project has served as a key resource for young people across San Bernardino and Riverside counties. Through programs focused on academic support, job readiness, and entrepreneurship, YAP helps participants build skills, secure employment, and pursue long-term career pathways.

  Key initiatives include:

  • Young Workers Youth Forward Program, which provides paid work experience, career coaching, and supportive services
  • YLinc Business & Beyond Program (YBBP), which equips youth with entrepreneurial skills to launch and grow their own businesses

The Bellamy Group will formally present the contribution during a special visit to YAP’s Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino County (CAPSBC) site in San Bernardino on Tuesday, bringing together staff, partners, and community stakeholders to celebrate the investment and highlight program impact. This partnership highlights the importance of cross-regional collaboration in expanding equitable opportunities for youth and strengthening communities at the local level.
