Guns Down is What it do! For the entire month of February LUE Productions will be posting several Public Service Announcements against gun violence and Black-on-Black crime. This will be an online campaign to help bring awareness to the situation. Please get involved! We ask that you help support our efforts by simply sharing our message of peace.

Michael Angelo Newell

Writer, rap artist, and producer Michael Angelo Newell is What It Do!

Performing and music is a passion of Michael’s. I’ve had the opportunity to see this dude rip the MIC on several occasions. His energy level is through the roof.

Michael Angelo Newell has a way of commanding the audience. He keeps the crowd engaged whether it’s him performing or someone else. Majoring in Audio Production from the Arts Institute of San Bernardino, Micheal would like to use the skills gained to further his music career and to help other artists. He has collaborated on several projects with artists from the Inland Empire and beyond.

 Currently, he’s working on his new project titled, “Highly Seasoned,” which is scheduled to drop soon.

 “I love working in my community and with the youth,”  Micheal states.

Fashion Consultant and Stylist, Riisha Shelby of DIVA OUTLAW is WHAT IT DO!

Have you ever notice the how good the stars look when dressed? Or maybe you’ve notice how good certain mainstream artists and performer’s t look in music videos or on the red carpet? The majority of them have a team of personal stylists or image consultants. It’s their job to help clients develop and enhance their professional and/or personal images. They help clients choose clothes for a variety of occasions and help them decide which styles are flattering and communicate the appropriate message.

My girl ‘Riisha Shelby’ is with the business when it comes to styling you. From her color popping lipsticks, to her many stylish hair styles, sexy footwear, flashy accessories, and edgy clothing. It was no surprise that she would be in high demand as a fashion consultant. 

I fell in love with her style and spirit from the moment I met her. Riisha is a talented individual with a heart of gold. She desired to help and share her gift with others, so in 2014 she created her own brand ‘Diva Outlaw’ clothing for the plus size divas.

Diva Outlaw Fashions, carries beautiful, unique, and affordable pieces. When asking Riisha why plus size clothing, she had this to say, “The goal is to help style plus size women in clothing that makes them feel sexy and confident.”

Not forgetting about those ladies with less meat, LOL, she also created ‘Diva Outlaw Mystique’ which will officially kick off in 2018. Diva Outlaw Fashions was showcased in LUE Productions ‘Big Sexy Men Competition’ and LUE Productions 2018 Plus Size Calendar Shoot. 

Riisha also participated in LUE Productions Annual ‘Hot Meals’ feeding the homeless. She pulled together her team and other community members to help feed 400 homeless people in downtown San Bernardino during Thanksgiving. Like I said, A HEART OF GOLD.

Big Beautiful Women is WHAT IT DO! Who will be crowned Miss B.B.W. 2018?

LUE Productions will be hosting its 2^nd BBW (Big Beautiful Women) Model Competition and Fashion Show and Fundraiser. It will be a night of girl power at its finest! Come out and enjoy an evening filled with live performances, fashion, featured designers, music, food, vendors, raffles, and more.

The Winner of the competition will walk away with the following: $500 in cash, a crown, a trophy, a photoshoot, a newspaper/magazine feature, hosting gigs, and exposure/promo for a year or more. That winner could be you! To register, the fee is $50 before January 1, $100 after February 1, and $150 after April 1.

To be considered as a contestant you must be a size 14 and up, be 18 years or older, must be willing to participate in all activities surrounding the promotion and success of the event, and must register no later than May 1. LadyMV and RoyalRose Winter FASHION SHOW is WHAT IT DO. This Sunday, November 26, Lady MV is celebrating fun,  figured women during the month of November.

I’m calling all my fashionista’s who are looking for something fun to do after Turkey day. Yolanda Magnum and ‘NeNe’, CEO and Founder of LadyMV and RoyalRose Clothing, along with her entire team are ready to serve it up on the runway.

Bringing awareness about violence through music is WHAT IT DO! Violence is everywhere. You see it when you turn on the television and when you walk or drive through certain neighborhoods. So why does it have to be in the schools? School should be one of the safest places for our youth. They should be worried about graduating or who they should ask out to prom. Our youth should not have to worry about SAFETY while learning.

Shout out to R&B artist, Yung Muusik, for having a heart to help our youth by putting on a concert in the City of Adelanto. The focus is to bring people together and this is an all age event. feel free to bring out your family for a day of fun and MUSIC. Edwin Johnson of Chord Youth Enrichment Program will be the guest speaker of the evening. The concert will feature performances by local artist such as: Gaim Ov3r, Yung Muusik, Jada J., Princess Anyia, and more.

There will be activities and free giveaways for families. The concert will take place on Saturday, November 18 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the City of the Lord Baptist Church located at 17911 Permain Street in Adelanto. Let’s do our best to spread love and not hate.

Just a Scorpio on the move! Please allow me to re-introduce myself. LuCretia Dowdy is my name but they call me LUE. I tell most folks, you either love me or hate me; there’s no in-between.

Coming out of the Dino, I consider myself to be a true Westside girl. I was born at Community Hospital in San Bernardino and raised on 15th street in between Western and Medical Center. I attended several elementary, junior high, and high schools throughout the Inland Empire. Not always being the smartest, school was difficult for me but I made it.

These San Bernardino streets weren’t no joke. As a kid growing up, I had to learn how to fight, especially being an only child that was partially raised by my grandmother. I’ve made some wrong choices back in my days that landed me in situations that weren’t good. Now that I’m older and wiser I see differently. I’m thankful that I turned my LIFE around for the better. It’s only by the Grace of God that I am here today. Trust and believe that this Child of the Most-High, Widow, Mother, Grandmother, and Entrepreneur, Business Woman, Go Getta, and Hustler will never STOP!
