Highlighting talent and beauty is WHAT IT DO WITH THE LUE. So with that being said, please allow me to introduce the DIVA, MODEL, MOON BUSH. This model is doing her thing all over Cali in a major way. I love seeing women go for what they want; it’s clear that Moon Bush knows exactly what she wants. Please take a moment and learn more about this Queen!

A former Collegiate Basketball player and all-around athlete, Moon Bush of San Bernardino, California, strutted down the runway in 2015. She hit the catwalk during Style Fashion Week in Los Angeles, Ankara Festival Fashion Show, The Model Experience Summer Fashion Show, and again during their New Girl Expo Fashion Show. Moon has been published in Designer Original Magazine, Fashion Xchange Magazine and Styleloftz Magazine, just to name a few.

In the same year, this natural beauty was casted to walk in A Cultural Invasion Fashion Show, Taste of Caribbean Fashion Show, FOGO Fundraiser Fashion Show, Yere Fashion Show, Urban Nature Fashion Show, and the ReUp fashion Show. As you can see she loves the runway because this workaholic has also done the Art Is My Drug Fashion Show, Sheen Magazine Fashion Show, Cypher Fashion Show, Haunted Couture by Russell Couture where she was transformed into Maleficent. Moon also has published print work with Tinz Clothing, Stephanie Burkhalter and Philthy Ragz.

Moon Bush wrapped 2015 up with walking in an intimate show displaying the styling’s of Philthy Ragz Fashion Show Fall collection and finally in the Lady MV Fall Fashion Show. Just 5 weeks later, after entering the tough contest, Moon was super excited to be named the 2016 Lady MV Host.

She will also be walking in Los Angeles Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week for Celebrity Designer Leontine Abdullah of Leontine Collection in the latter part of 2016. Moon Bush has worked with amazing photographers like Will Utley of Will Utley Photography, Derrick Rodgers Director of Photography for Fashion Xchange Magazine, Tyrone Richardson of Tyrone Richardson Photography, Monette Hamilton of Eye Take Pictures and with Director Duke Givens of Duke Enterprise. She has worn amazing pieces by designers like DYMOND of Dhaleter Design, Stephaine Burkhalter, Gaynelle White of Philthy Ragz and Tiara Saleem of Tiara Saleem Designs.

Charities Moon has worked with are San Bernardino Feed the Homeless, Inland Empire Coat Drive, St.Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Pennies for Patients (Leukemia and Lymphoma Society) and K.I.O Kids Club. Being a Christian attending Cathedral of Praise Ministries pastored by Bishop Craig W. Johnson, Moon’s unwavering Christian faith is at the forefront of her existence.

She is an obedient child of God whose footsteps are guided by the Almighty. She gives all glory to Jesus, for each and everything that she has been able to accomplish. All the ups and downs she has been through and because of his grace and mercy, not only did she survive but thrived during those times. Moon Bush hopes to inspire others with her experiences to know they can accomplish their dream with hard work and true faith. She realizes that at the essence of it all, our job as humans are to help someone else, so they can help someone else.

Rapper, Yungan of 4ETE is What it Do With The LUE this Week!!! I totally love the way this dude rocks the MIC. Yungan, whose real name is Eric Taylor, was born in South Central of Los Angeles, California and currently resides in the Inland Empire. Yungan was inspired to write at the age of 12 and began his start in the rap game at the age of 18. Not boxing himself in, he started to explore other fields of the entertainment game such as acting, writing, producing, and modeling.     Currently under the management of 4everthugging Entertainment, Yungan is also a member of the management’s company group called Stoney Gang. Stoney Gang consists of four other talented solo artists.

Yungan has performed at several events and concerts throughout Southern California. His goal is to go international with it. The streets encouraged him to make money but music encouraged him to make HITS, stay out of the way, and not become a statistic. “I have little brothers and family that is depending on me,” says Yungan.

Recently he dropped his new project titled “Parties & Problems, Volume 1.”  Expect to see amazing things from this artist. You can catch this cutie pie performing live this weekend and on air at Mix & Mingle R&B King and Queen on Saturday, May 7at the American Legion Post 710 in San Bernardino; at the Red Cup Edition on Sunday, May 8 at the 420 Night Club in Ontario, and don’t forget to tune in to “Listening With LUE Radio Show” this  Sunday, May 8 on KCAA 1050 A.M. at 6:00 pm to hear Yungan. Alive in the Lights

All Female Youth rock band “Alive in the Lights” is WHAT IT DO WITH THE LUE this week. OMG! OMG! When you talk about talented youth right here in the Inland Empire, Richardson Prep High is bringing up contenders in a real way. I had the opportunity to hear and watch this group rock out at several community events. From the first time I saw them I was hooked. Each one can sing and play. The girls show no fear when performing, they bring the HEAT.

Alive in the Lights is a five piece all girl rock band with members ages 16 to 19. The group was originally a three-member group formed as a small project at Richardson Prep High in San Bernardino. This group originally performed primarily acoustic rock and featured Madelyn Porras (age 17) as a vocalist, guitarist and pianist; Simmy Grewal (age 16) on bass and vocals; and Amanda Martinez (age 16) on keyboards and vocals. After an extensive search, Alive in the Lights really came together when joined by local rockers, drummer Elita Barus (age 18) from Citrus Valley High, and lead guitarist, Alex Padilla (age 19).

Since their formation in 2013, Alive in the Lights has written and produced several original songs and has played numerous high energy shows at venues such as Knott’s Berry Farm, Disney California Adventure, the House of Blues, the Glass House, Chain Reaction, Raging Waters, Cal State San Bernardino and the Lake Arrowhead Summer Concert series. In addition to these professional shows, Alive in the Lights plays at 10 to 15 charity events per year.

Their first EP, “Contradictions,” was released in October 2015 and their first professional music video, “Tongue Tied,” was released just months later. The girls have their sights set on even bigger shows this year and are currently working on their second EP and music video.  This young and extremely talented group is one to watch in 2016.

Public Relations is vital in the entertainment world. This week, Publicist, Naomi K. Bonman is WHAT IT DO WITH THE LUE! For those of you don’t know of her well you need to know. I’m so proud of this talented young Queen.

The first time I met Naomi it was through a shared mentor of ours, Mr. Wallace Allen, Owner and Founder of The Westside Story Newspaper. It was something about her drive and passion that made me connect with her. Please catch Naomi live on our radio show this Sunday titled, “Listening with LUE”.

Over the span of 10 years in journalism which has given her several opportunities to interview some of the top entertainers and elected city officials, Naomi K. Bonman has remained true to her calling and purpose in Journalism. Even in the demise and downfalls of print journalism and having to pick up a “regular” day job on the side, Bonman never gave up her first true love and continued to pursue and live out her passion and purpose, no matter what the odds were.

Bonman is currently the editor of a San Bernardino, California newspaper; a contributor of CBS Local’s Best of section; and she also runs her own digital publication Sophisticated Relations and Posh & Tailored where she is at the forefront of creating opportunities for millennials of color in business, lifestyle, and entertainment. With her years of experience in the field, she is ready and is seeing the green light to emerge full-time into a major news station where she can expand her horizon and grow even more into her field. She believes that the sky is the limit and knows that ‘No’ is never the answer.

A graduate of Clark Atlanta University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Masters of Public Administration from DeVry University, Ms. Bonman has ensured that she is equipped with multiple talents which make her more marketable in claiming her career path. During the span of her Journalism career she has been blessed with the opportunities to interview some of the top entertainers, which include but are not limited to Kelly Rowland, Charli Baltimore, David Ruffin Jr., son of Temptation’s lead singer, David Ruffin. She also has experience in reporting in sports, fashion, business, community, finance, health, fitness, and relationship issues.

In addition, Bonman has covered major events such as Style Week LA, NAACP Awards Luncheon, Pan African Film Festival, and several community and corporate events. She is also a publicist where she has clients in literature, music, acting, and management. Bonman is a firm believer in giving back to her community which is why she emerged into doing public relations on the side in helping others achieve their dreams.

Some of the organizations that Ms. Bonman is involved in is the Clark Atlanta University Alumni Association, the National Association of Black Journalists, and several blogging societies where she participates in campaign branding opportunities.

When Ms. Bonman is not on the red carpet covering an event, networking, or elevating her career to new heights, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé, spending time with family, hanging with her girls, and traveling to see new places and doing new things.

Arie Vee

New female R&B/HIP-HOP artist, “Arie Vee,” making major noise in the Inland Empire is What it Do With The LUE this week.

So the first time I heard this Queen sing was at our 1st Indie Artist Award Show last year. We were short a female singer and were down to the last minute of preparation for our Red Carpet performances. I reached to Aaron Swift, owner of On My Mama Recordz, a local record company based out of the Inland Empire. He sent us his talented artist Arie Vee. I fell in love with her voice. Bringing back that old school R&B vibe, this Queen is the real deal.

Arie Vee, born on December 1, 1988, is a Hip Hop/R&B artist on On My Mama Recordz. Some of her musical influences are Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott and J Cole. Arie Vee began singing in church at the age of 5 and began writing her own music at the age of 13. She shared her first written song at her High School talent show, “I Wanna Be,” and won. Since then she kept writing and wrote her first rap at the age of 18. She has been featured on albums and mixtapes such as, “Dear IE” by Valencia Stacks and “Grandma’s Porch,” by Valencia Stacks and Swift. Her debut song “High School Dance,” which is one of my favorites has been taking the IE by storm and her first album “Lost Child,” was released on February 29, 2016.

Sing! Dance! Rap! Act! Recite a poem! Play an instrument! Looking for talented youth to showcase is What It Do With LUE this week!

The PAL Center is hosting their 1st Annual Resource Fair and Youth Showcase and LUE Productions has the honor of coordinating it. We’re looking to feature 10 to 15 talented individuals or groups. All information on how to register for this FREE event is located below.

The event is Saturday, April 2 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 2450 Blake Street in San Bernardino. To participate, youth must be 19 and under. Check-in time is from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Each act will be allocated a total of 10 minutes to perform. All performers must have a performance wavier form signed by their parent or guardian and music must be clean and edited.

The Provisional Accelerated Learning Center (PAL Center) is a community-based organization established to compliment the activities of the structured educational system and provides education and employment services in a non-threatening environment that is easily assessable to residents.

LUE Productions in conjunction with DRAC Entertainment is at it again providing platforms for Indie Artists. This Saturday, March 5, come out and network at our bi-monthly mixer while enjoying an entertaining show from some of the most talented artists in the game. The event will be held in the City of San Bernardino at the American Legion located at 2181 West Highland Avenue.

What It Do With the LUE is Longevity! Energetic! Passionate! Creative! Spiritual! An all-around show stopper is just a few words to describe the man they call Uncle Charlie.

Major props for San Manuel Indian Bingo on bringing out the legendary Charlie Wilson to San Bernardino! Uncle Charlie showed UP and showed OUT! He gave us that R-n-B and Soul, mixed with funk. The house was packed with everyone on their feet vibin’ to his classic vocals, and the sounds of his amazing band will always be a special memory for me.

Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma this singer is no stranger to the Word of God. Gaining his singing roots in church, Mr. Wilson and his brothers formulated a new sound which birthed the famous group, The Gap Band. Having highs and lows and a battle with drug addiction throughout his career, Mr. Wilson beat the odds and made a comeback.

Hooking up with star powers such as rapper Snoop Dogg of Dog Pound Entertainment, reminded him of his love for the music. Snoop Dogg gave Mr. Wilson the name Uncle Charlie. Snoop re-introduced him to a younger generation as they collaborated on several hit songs. When you have 21 and 25 year olds singing your songs word for word, then you know you were destined to perform.

I had such a good time the music took me back. “Mr. first name Charlie, last name Wilson,” is truly a legend in the game. Until next week folks L’z!
