The Afro: A Historical Perspective Exhibit Reception

Join us at the San Bernardino County Museum, Thursday, February 6, 5:30pm-7pm

for a reception celebrating Black History Month.

“The Afro: a Historical View, from the Afro Comb to the Crown Act,” tells the story of Dr. Willie Morrow, Barber, creator of the Afro Pick comb, and author of the book 400 Years Without a Comb.  Featuring artworks by the renowned African American artists; Ernie Barnes and Albert Fennel along with artifacts that document the story of this revolutionary beauty phenomenon.
