First District Communities Continue Summer Fun with Free ‘Concerts in the Park’

The fun continues the week with a variety of free summer concerts throughout the First District!

  • The Victorville Concerts in the Park series presents the Blue Breeze Band, performing Motown classics on July 11 at 6 p.m. This free, public event includes arts and craft stations, Kids Zones, and food vendors, with TXT2VOTE available for the Victorville Sings competition. The event takes place at Hook Park, 14973 Joshua St., Victorville. For further information, call (760) 245-5551.
  • The Town of Apple Valley’s Sunset Concert Series is back with free live music, dancing, food vendors, a beer garden, and good vibes! On July 10, Let’s Dance! will get you moving with their high-energy performance. This variety cover band plays popular music from across the decades, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Join the fun from 6 to 9 p.m. at Civic Center Park, 14999 Dale Evans Parkway, Apple Valley.
  • The Music in the Pines Summer Concert Series continues on Thursday, July 10, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Wrightwood Community Building parking lot. This free community favorite promises an evening of great entertainment under the stars. Opening the night is Alex McCue and the Group, known for their vibrant blend of reggae, folk, and soul. Following them is the Hwy 2 Band, bringing classic rock ‘n’ roll energy to the stage. All Music in the Pines concerts are free and open to the public. The concert venue is located in the Vivian Null Park parking lot area, between Park Drive and Pine Street off Highway 2.
  • Helendale CSD’s Concert in the Park is planned from 6-9 p.m. this Saturday, July 12. The featured band is City Beat and the Main Street Horns. They will be playing a mix of music from the 60’s through today with a mix of rock, funk and Motown. Helendale Community Park is located at 15425 Wild Rd., Helendale.
  • Wrightwood’s North Lodge Concert Series continues from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, July 12, with the Skyler Lutes Band. Their music is rooted in reggae rock and island sounds, featuring songs that mix rhythms and melody, while also evoking ocean breezes and beach side celebrations. The free concert will take place at Mountain High Resort’s North Lodge, near Table Mountain Campground in Wrightwood.
