First District residents are invited to come together for National Night Out —a nationwide event that strengthens police-community partnerships and builds neighborhood unity for safer, more connected communities. It’s the perfect chance to enjoy a fun, family-friendly evening while getting to know your local law enforcement and first responders.

In Hesperia, the celebration takes place at Civic Plaza Park (15833 Smoke Tree Street) from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5. Families can enjoy safety vehicle tours, face painting, bounce houses, vendor booths, and more alongside Hesperia deputies, firefighters, and emergency responders.

Apple Valley will host its event at Civic Center Park (14999 Dale Evans Parkway) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5. Attendees can connect with Apple Valley Police, browse informational booths and vendors, and enjoy free hot dogs, chips, and water.

In Victorville, head to Sunset Ridge Park (12808 Eucalyptus Street) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5, for an evening of neighborhood fun with Victorville Police Department officers, City staff, and community members.

Whether you’re looking for food, fun, or friendly connections, National Night Out is a great way to show community pride and support those who keep our neighborhoods safe.
