The organization operates at the national, state and local levels through more than 800 state and local Leagues throughout all 50 states, Washington, D.C., the Virgin Islands and Hong Kong.

Formed from the movement that helped secure voting rights for women, the League continues to focus on expanding civic participation and ensuring people have a voice in their communities and government.

The San Bernardino Area League is encouraging residents to take time to recognize Inland Empire individuals and organizations that go above and beyond to improve their communities by submitting a nomination before the September 18 deadline.
