On Friday, June 6, 2025, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department (SBCSD) began monitoring protests occurring in Los Angeles County related to ICE Enforcement Operations. As the demonstrations continued, some escalated into unlawful assemblies involving vandalism, arson, and assaults on federal law enforcement officers.
Throughout this period, the SBCSD department remained in close communication with allied law enforcement partners to coordinate potential mutual aid. We also used our digital platforms to inform the public about our role: to ensure the safety and security of San Bernardino County communities.
To safeguard San Bernardino County residents, SBCSD increased patrol presence and maintained a heightened state of readiness to respond to any critical incidents within their jurisdiction or in support of partner agencies. Multiple protests also occurred across San Bernardino County this past week. All were monitored closely, and no major incidents were reported.
SBCSD thanks their community for their continued support and encourage residents to remain alert and engaged. If you see something suspicious or concerning, report it immediately by calling 911 or anonymously through We-Tip at 1-800-78-CRIME.
