SAN BERNARDINO, CA—The Black Culture Foundation is now accepting nominations for the 2026 Black Rose Awards, which honor remarkable individuals dedicating their lives to community service and improvement in the Inland Empire. Nominations are due by November 10, 2025.
The 34th Annual Black Rose Awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., in the Santos Manuel Student Union at California State University, San Bernardino. This event shines a spotlight on those whose volunteer efforts transcend typical expectations, often going unrecognized despite their significant impact on the community.
“We are looking for Black leaders or community members who work tirelessly to uplift others in the Inland Empire,” said Carl M. Dameron, President of the Black Culture Foundation. “We encourage nominations for The Black Rose, Humanitarian of the Year, and Community Service awards.”
Jim King, founder of the Black Rose Awards, emphasized the importance of recognizing dedicated volunteers who contribute their time without seeking recognition. “These individuals are the unsung heroes, they are committed, compassionate, and make our community a better place.”
Nomination forms are available online at: SBBCFoundation.org The awards celebrate achievements across the Black community, but recipients are not required to be Black themselves.
