San Bernardino County highlights 2025 accomplishments in public service and community impact

SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY—- As 2025 draws to a close, San Bernardino County reflects on a year of significant progress in delivering innovative, efficient public services that enhance residents’ quality of life across California’s largest geographic county.

The impacts of the Christmas storm and recovery efforts will extend into 2026 and were therefore not included in the county’s review of 2025.  

Leading the nation for the fourth consecutive year, the county in 2025 earned a record 257 Achievement Awards from the National Association of Counties, recognizing excellence in areas such as public health, safety, workforce development and community engagement.

“Everything we accomplished in 2025 reflects the dedication of our county employees and our shared commitment to serving residents,” said Board of Supervisors Chairman and Third District Supervisor Dawn Rowe. “From public safety and health to transparency and recreation, our teams delivered measurable results that improve lives countywide.”
