SAN BERNARDINO, CA—The Educational Results Partnership (ERP) named six San Bernardino City Unified School District (SBCUSD) campuses to its 2025 Honor Roll for being high-performing schools that improve student academic outcomes.
The award-winning schools are Hillside University Demonstration School, Kimbark Elementary School, Paakuma’ K–8 School, Richardson PREP HI Middle School, Rodriguez PREP Academy Middle School and Middle College High School. All six schools were also recognized last year.
“Having six schools named to the ERP Honor Roll is just more proof that our schools have high expectations for academics and that our entire District SHINES,” said Superintendent Mauricio Arellano. “Every award and recognition is another reason for our students and families to take pride in our hometown and to show that our community is resilient enough to overcome adversity and thrive.”
Paakuma’ K–8 School made the ERP Honor Roll for the first time last year. Hillside has made the list 10 times, Kimbark four times, Richardson PREP HI 13 times, Rodriguez PREP Academy eight times and Middle College seven times.
All of this year’s honorees earned the Star Award, which recognizes Honor Roll schools that are high performing and closing the achievement gap despite being high-need schools.
ERP is a non-profit organization that uses public school achievement data to help improve student outcomes and career readiness. ERP Honor Roll schools have demonstrated consistently high levels of student academic achievement, improvement in achievement levels over time and a reduction in achievement gaps among student populations.
