SAN BERNARDINO, CA—- The Southern California Black Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with YouthBuild Inland Empire, proudly announces the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Service Awards, a distinguished celebration dedicated to honoring the faith-based community and its unwavering service to communities locally and beyond.

This prestigious award recognizes exceptional individuals and ministries whose faith-driven leadership, service, and commitment embody the principles and enduring legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Through their tireless work, these honorees have demonstrated a deep dedication to uplifting communities, fostering connection, encouraging growth, and empowering individuals and families to succeed and prosper.

The 2026 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Service Awards will be an elegant evening of reflection, celebration, and inspiration, featuring dinner, live entertainment by gospel band The Lions of Judah, special remarks, and the formal presentation of awards.

In addition to the awards ceremony, select honorees will also be recognized during the Annual San Bernardino Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade & Extravaganza, taking place on Monday, January 19, 2026, in downtown San Bernardino at Youth Build located at 624 W. 4th Street. The parade kicks off at noon. This public celebration further highlights their impactful service and allows the broader community to join in honoring their contributions.
