SAN BERNARDINO, CA — The Southern California Black Chamber of Commerce – Inland Cities East, YouthBuild Inland Empire, and LUE Productions Community Umbrella Services proudly announce the 6th Annual San Bernardino Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade & Extravaganza, a powerful community celebration honoring the life, legacy, and enduring vision of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Taking it back to the beginning, this year’s event calls on local churches throughout the Inland Empire to come together and represent their congregations in unity by participating in the parade. Faith institutions have long been the cornerstone of the Civil Rights Movement, and this gathering re-centers that foundation—bringing the community together in purpose, pride, and progress.
The 2026 celebration is titled “United for the Dream,” with the theme “The Power of Unity: Together We Rise.” The event will serve as a meaningful day of remembrance, reflection, and joyful celebration, uplifting Dr. King’s message through collective action, cultural expression, and community engagement.

Immediately following the parade, the community is invited to remain for The Extravaganza, a vibrant celebration featuring dynamic speakers, cultural displays, an art walk, live entertainment, music and dance, youth activities, community organizations, delicious food, and more. The event is designed to be inclusive, family-friendly, and inspiring for all ages.
Organizers encourage churches, community groups, youth organizations, and local residents to participate and be part of something meaningful honoring the past while continuing the work of unity, service, and social progress.
