SAN BERNARDINO, CA— Dr. Kim Carter-Tillman has been named the 2025 National Remarkable Woman of the Year—a powerful recognition of her decades-long commitment to uplifting women and transforming lives. Chosen from over 125 finalists nationwide, Dr. Carter-Tillman stood out for her groundbreaking work in supportive housing and entrepreneurship, creating pathways to self-sufficiency for women who have experienced homelessness, incarceration, and trauma.
Through her leadership, she has built programs that don’t just offer temporary help—they offer lasting change. From founding Time for Change Foundation to launching the Black and Brown Opportunities for Profit (BBOP) Center, Dr. Carter-Tillman has helped thousands of women reclaim their power, reunite with their families, and build lives filled with purpose and dignity. Her recognition comes with a $25,000 grant from the Nexstar Charitable Foundation, following her regional win representing KTLA and a $5,000 award for her charity.
