SAN BERNARDINO, CA — The City of San Bernardino is inviting local businesses, food vendors, artists, merchants, nonprofit organizations and community resource providers to become part of two upcoming celebrations commemorating the 100th anniversary of Historic Route 66.
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — Riverside County residents looking for a new job or preparing to take the next step in their careers are encouraged to attend several upcoming job fairs taking place throughout the county.
The upcoming events will provide community members with opportunities to connect directly with employers, learn about available positions and explore employment opportunities within the region. Whether residents are actively searching for a new position or simply considering their next career move, the job fairs offer a chance to engage with local employers and learn more about potential career paths.
“Connecting job seekers with employers is an important part of strengthening our communities and creating pathways to economic opportunity,” said Riverside County Supervisor José Medina.
“I encourage District One residents who are looking for employment or considering a career change to take advantage of these upcoming events and the resources available to them.”

Supervisor Medina and the Riverside County Board of Supervisors District One office encourage residents to explore these opportunities, meet with prospective employers and take an active step toward achieving their employment and career goals.
The September celebration will bring the community together for a lively street-fair atmosphere featuring classic cars, live entertainment, local history, family activities and opportunities to shop, eat and connect with local organizations. Vendors offering food, crafts, merchandise, services, community resources and information are encouraged to participate.
Vendor opportunities will continue this fall with the Veterans Day Salute & Parade and Route 66 Centennial Celebration on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. along Mt. Vernon Avenue between 5th and 9th streets. The event will honor the men and women who have served and continue to serve in the United States Armed Forces while bringing San Bernardino’s yearlong Route 66 Centennial celebration to a memorable conclusion. The City describes the November event as a patriotic celebration featuring a parade, community festivities and recognition of Route 66’s lasting impact on San Bernardino’s history, culture and identity.
The Veterans Day celebration will include a parade, classic car display and a special ceremony recognizing local veterans and military members, creating another opportunity for vendors to engage with residents and visitors while supporting a meaningful community event.
Interested vendors should submit a completed vendor application along with photographs of their booth setup and products. Additional documentation, including menus, seller permits, business licenses, health permits and certificates of insurance, may be required depending on the type of vendor.
