SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, CA —San Bernardino County Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk (ARC) Josie Gonzales is proud to announce a first-time collaboration with the California Secretary of State (SOS) to bring an Apostille Pop-Up Shop directly to county residents on Wednesday, June 25th, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Hall of Records, 222 W. Hospitality Lane, 1st Floor, San Bernardino, CA 92415. Free parking will be available on-site.
An apostille is an official certificate issued by the California Secretary of State that verifies the authenticity of a public document for use in foreign countries. Apostilles are commonly required for international legal proceedings, adoptions and other official matters.
This service is typically only available in person at the California Secretary of State’s offices in Los Angeles and Sacramento. Thanks to this special one-day partnership, residents of San Bernardino County can now access this vital service locally, saving time and travel.
“We are excited to bring this important service closer to our community,” said Josie Gonzales, San Bernardino County Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk. “This collaboration with the Secretary of State’s office allows us to better serve our residents with more accessible government services, right here in San Bernardino.”
“One of the most important aspects of my role as California’s Secretary of State is ensuring that the services we provide are accessible, efficient, and customer-friendly for everyone. A perfect example of this commitment is our innovative Apostille Pop-Up Shops program, which has been a game-changer for so many Californians,” said California Secretary of State Shirley N Weber, Ph.D., “I am proud to continue these efforts with a stop in San Bernardino County, bringing government closer to the people it serves.”
