SAN BERNARDINO, CA — In a powerful show of community spirit and collaboration, San Bernardino County Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr. is partnering with the Jayden Daniels Foundation to host the inaugural Community Day at Cajon High School, the alma mater of NFL quarterback and San Bernardino native Jayden Daniels. The event is set for Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 10 a.m.
Designed to uplift and equip local families ahead of the upcoming school year, Community Day will offer a range of free resources and family-friendly activities. Highlights include a backpack giveaway, raffle prizes, a comprehensive county resource fair, and free sports physicals for youth involved in local athletic programs. The initiative brings together civic leadership and athletic inspiration, aiming to foster a supportive environment for the city’s youth.
Jayden Daniels, now quarterback for the Washington Commanders, returns home to make a direct impact on the community that raised him. Alongside Supervisor Baca, Jr., the event symbolizes the power of partnership between government leaders, professional athletes, and nonprofit organizations working in unity to give back.
The event will take place at Cajon High School, located at 1200 W Hill Dr, San Bernardino, CA 92407. Parking will be available onsite for attendees.
Members of the media will have the opportunity to interview both Jayden Daniels and Supervisor Baca, Jr., as well as representatives from participating San Bernardino County departments.
